How It Works

All installation holes come pre-drilled. You can use a power or hand screwdriver. Please make sure that when using a power screwdriver that you DO NOT over tighten the screws.

Pig Rail

Those of you who pick up your pens at shows or at our warehouse will usually have your pig rail assembled. If we ship it to you, you will need to put the four sides together. All holes are pre-drilled and the screws are in the holes. To begin, you will need to remove all 16 screws and set them aside.

Lay out  the four side of the pig rail with all screw holes facing up. You will notice that two of the 2″ x4″‘s have a block inserted into the ends. This should be laid out opposite each other.
Insert end with block into an open end. It might be necessary to angle the 2″ x 4″ slightly to insert it fully.
Align screw holes and place leg over holes.
Attach legs with provided screws. The legs are made with two different size legs, so please make sure that you are using the same size on all four legs, or it will not sit level.

Saddles for Center Divide

Remove screws from package. This package includes the saddles and all the mounting screws that are necessary.
Line up the saddle with the holes in the 2″ x 6″ portion of the wall.
Install screws using screwdriver, making sure not to over tighten.
Set in the center divide before you install channels for the lattice wall if you received one.

Lattice Walls

The side channels are attached to the walls for safe delivery. They are attached with the pins at the top. The screws are in the holes in the side rails. The screws will need to be removed before rail can be installed.
You will find markings on the rail and the side wall, which will help you find where they go. You will find the locations directly above where the center divide will go.
Insert screws into the holes and tighten, using a screwdriver. They should be tight but do not over tighten. There are usually three screws in each rail, for a total of six screws.
The wall can be removed at this point by removing the pins and pulling straight up.
